CARING FOR YOUR KNITWEAR

Due to its natural characteristics, Wool is naturally stain and odor resistant. If your garment needs to be washed, hand washing is recommended. You may use mild detergent, wool wash, or just water. Fill a sink with warm water and fully submerge your item, letting it soak for 20 minutes. Avoid rubbing or scrubbing your item together. After washing, lay your garment flat on a towel, making sure not to squeeze or wring your garment. Roll your piece in a towel to squeeze out water, and leave to dry flat.

WHAT TO DO WHEN YOUR KNITWEAR PILLS?

Pilling is a natural process caused by friction, where shorter fibers migrate to the surface and create small balls of fiber. These pills can easily be removed by using a wool comb. Brush in the same direction of the knitting to avoid damage to the fibers. Pilling is a natural characteristic of wool and should not be considered as imperfections, rather the sign of a well loved piece in your wardrobe.
